The Contract Packing Division of the Widdowson Group, one of the UK’s leading logistics solution suppliers, has been awarded a contract with the Boots Company of Nottingham.  The new business is to pack two Christmas gift ranges - one haircare and one toiletry.

Clarke Robinson, operations manager for Widdowson, comments, “We feel it’s a great achievement for our Contract Packing Division to be appointed as a nominated supplier for Boots.  We first approached the company several years ago and, at that time, we were unsuccessful. 

“Since then, we’ve invested heavily to develop a professional contract packing facility.  This facility has established a reputation for high quality product customisation supported by robust systems that ensure consistency.  As a result we asked Boots to assess our suitability again and this time we’re delighted to have been given the go-ahead.  It’s a tremendous reward for our hard work and we are looking forward to extending the relationship in the months ahead.”
